The Company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Management System (QHSEMS), is structured to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards and other relevant requirements. It comprises of the QHSE Manual, the Company’s procedures, Operating Guidelines, Work Instructions, Specifications which outline the functions and responsibilities of the departments and individuals involved in the QHSEMS. The QHSEMS provides information and instruction related to the implementation, management, and review of the Company’s business and quality improvement processes.
QHSEMS is headed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who will ensure that the requirements of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management System are developed and effectively implemented. The organization structure is made available at every level of the organization. General and specific responsibility and authority are explicitly defined in the Job Descriptions for all personnel whose activities influence service qualities, which include ensuring customer/supplier relationship at all interfaces within the Company. The responsibility and authority defined are consistent with the means and methods necessary for achieving service quality.
QSHE stands for Quality, Safety, Health & Environment. The QSHE Department in the Company plays an advisory role in addition to assisting in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment matters for the Company's operations. These include design and project work, construction activities, technical audit and the formulation of company Quality, Health, Safety and Environment enhancement programs. Reporting all QSHEMS related information to the top management and any need for improvement.
Planning, implementing, reporting and reviewing internal quality audits and ensuring the implementation of agreed corrective actions.
Assisting departments to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the QSHEMS.
Ensuring promotion of awareness of customer requirement throughout the organization.

Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs can seriously impair an individual's judgement and reactions leading to an increased risk of accidents and injuries occurring.
The aim of this policy is to ensure the safety of all employees, workers, and visitors by having clear rules in place regarding use and possession of alcohol and drugs, and to support those who have reported a problem with alcohol or drug dependence.
One Medicare Sdn Bhd's policy is that during working hours and at all times whilst on work premise employees must be free from the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The following rules will be strictly enforced; no employee, worker or contractor shall report or try to report for work when unfit due to alcohol or drugs or to substance abuse including glue sniffing; be in possession of alcohol or illegal drugs in the workplace; supply others with illegal drugs in the workplace; supply others with alcohol in the workplace, except in the course of work duties.
One medicare Sdn Bhd reserves the right to subject any of its employee and subcontractors to a random drug and alcohol test, where upon confirmation of positive result, consequences management up to termination can be applied.

In line with this commitment, One Medicare Sdn Bhd has adopted a No-Smoking Policy which include vaping in the Company premises. Objective of this policy is to safeguard non-smokers from the risks to health of passive smoke by providing a smoke-free environment in all of the Company premises.
Where it is feasible, restricted smoking areas may be designated by the Company, although One Medicare Sdn Bhd remarks the harmful effects to health of tobacco smoke, mainly due to increased risk of contracting lung cancer and heart disease, and encourages those people who wish to quit smoking.
All employees, contractors and visitors are requested to abide with this policy when performing activities in the One Medicare Sdn Bhd sites as well as to comply with the No-Smoking policy in force in any other place where they may be called to perform activities for the Company.

One Medicare Sdn Bhd employees is responsible for their own safety and that of their colleagues and, regardless of their position, seniority or role, has the right and duty to intervene and stop any activities which is believed to be putting health and safety at risks.
Any unsafe behavior, action, omission, or situation which could lead to a potential incident must be reported quickly to the immediate supervisor or to the most senior One Medicare Sdn Bhd representative at the location in order take to prompt action.
One Medicare Sdn Bhd management supports the decision of its employees and contractors and upholds health and safety against all other considerations.
The Stop Work order must be applied in good faith. No blame or fault will be put on any employee or contractor reporting a risky situation or applying the stop work policy, even if such an action is proven unnecessary afterwards.
